No account required

Browsing, searching, filtering or reading any recipe or guide here doesn't require signing up for anything. There's no profile, no saved-recipe list and no personal history being built or stored behind the scenes.

Information collected through forms

Filling out the Contact or Corrections form means sharing a name, an email address and a message, and that information is used strictly to answer you or look into your report. None of it gets sold, rented out, or repurposed for marketing.

Server logs

As with nearly every website, the server hosting this one logs basic technical details on each visit — an IP address, a browser type, the page requested — mainly for security and for catching abuse. Those logs aren't stitched together into a profile of any individual visitor.

Third-party resources

Type on this site is delivered through Google Fonts, which means your browser reaches out to Google's own servers to fetch those files. No personal account information from this site rides along with that request. The Cookie Policy goes into more detail on this and on local browser storage.

Children's privacy

This is a general-audience cooking reference, not a site built with children in mind, and it does not knowingly gather personal information from them.

Your choices

Reading the entire library start to finish requires handing over no personal information whatsoever. Anyone who's previously sent a message and wants that data removed can ask through the Contact page.

Changes to this policy

Should this policy change, the revised version will go up on this same page with a new "last updated" date attached.
